An Ordinary Post

I thought the 2-ply toilet paper week was bad? This week was like being stranded in a public bathroom having just run clean out of toilet paper AND without anyone else there to hand you a wad.

With that said, the only other complaint I'll do is:

UGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH

Since 20 years evidently is a synonym for spoiled rotten, my mom got me a digital camera. I think she had an ulterior motive, since she did pay for my 16 rolls of films' development, and probably a good 40% of them were pictures no one cared to see. I think what I'm going to instigate are pictures showing the reasons you should come visit Chicago. Without further ado...

We want YOU to come to Chicago. My roommates. They're basically the only reason I stay sane every day.

Pretty leaves.

That's all you're getting right now. The third reason right now is because there's some pretty neat lightning going out outside right now.

This week I had to deal with a whole bunch of elementary school kids at concerts, which was like watching a beast waiting to break lose. The only thing more irritating than the kids were their teachers, and the only thing more irritating than the teachers were the parents this morning who catered to their every child's desire of "nature's calling" and going to the bathrom every... blessed...minute. Sometimes, you just have to let the kid DEAL WITH IT. Which is what I had to do.

Actually, all we were pointing out was the huge possibility that Adrianne's purse would be snatched off the railing behind her while she took this picture. Or that it would probably fall into the Chicago river.

Like seriously, the slightest breeze from passersby and it would have fallen into the chicago river. We were freaking the hell out and she didn't notice at all.

Also, what I just heard:
mk: adrianne, if you're going to go for the STD, at least go for the pretty one you like.
julie: you could go for clams. like, chlamydia 'clams' gyorfi
